rghchallen My prior experience with this band was the fantastically named, but otherwise rather poor 'Robbing the Grave of the Priest'.

The transformation from 2nd rate, second wave cheese to this is amazing. Blackened horror metal, atmospherically similar to Deceased and Malokarpatan. If you like them, you'll probably like this. All the songs are good, but extra kudos to Behind the Coffin's Lid for daring to go full-on ballad halfway through (and it's much better than I make that sound!). Favorite track: Behind the Coffin’s Lid.

Ocyale I appreciate the dark, narrative vox, melodic guitar and sempiternal feel. Epic stuff with "-98 Hirilornish" vibe. Favorite track: The Cursed Chamber.

PJ Brown love the shifting dynamics and chord patterns not commonly heard in black metal. A rather unique band.

The best album I’ve heard in quite some time. Better than Litourgiya to my ears. Haven’t listened to post Drabikowski Batushka so I can’t really compare the two. Really hopeful that he puts out more music. I’m interested in anything he serves up. nothing1429
